Solo Soprano, Solo Tenor and Piano

This is the 3rd Movement of Chronicles of Winter. In this movement, The Moon introduces herself, relaying the story of her birth. She recounts being pulled in by the earth and being bound to it, there to watch as it developed over millions of years. Ever circling with the earth, she sees the repeated patterns of life and death in the form of a circle: the circles made by the orbits of the celestial bodies; the circles made by earthly creatures as they form circles of protection, love and life.  At the end of the movement we meet one of The Wolves whose pack is also bound by patterns as they encircle The Girl.
